Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have under POPIA.

1. Who we are

Lolali (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2026/332698/07), trading as Lolali ("we", "us"), is the responsible party for personal information collected through this website. We are committed to processing your information lawfully and transparently in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

2. What we collect

  • Order details: your name, e-mail address, cellphone number, delivery address or preferred PUDO locker, and the products you order.
  • Payment information: we record that a payment was received and its reference. We never collect or store card or online banking details.
  • Messages: anything you send us through our contact or review forms.
  • Technical information: your IP address and basic request data, used only for security and spam prevention.

3. How we use it

We use your information only to process and deliver your order, confirm payments, respond to your enquiries, publish reviews you choose to submit (your first name and town only), prevent fraud and spam, and meet our legal and tax obligations. We send marketing messages only if you opt in, and every message lets you unsubscribe.

4. Who we share it with

We share only what is needed: your name, cellphone number and delivery details with our courier partner PUDO (The Courier Guy) to deliver your parcel, and with our web hosting and e-mail service providers who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations. We never sell your personal information.

5. How long we keep it

Order records are kept for five years to meet South African tax and accounting requirements. Enquiries are kept for up to two years. You may ask us to delete information we are not legally required to keep.

6. How we protect it

The website uses HTTPS encryption throughout. Order and customer data is stored in protected files outside of public access, administrator access is password protected with brute-force protection, and access is limited to the people who need it to serve you.

7. Cookies and local storage

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your shopping bag and wishlist are stored in your own browser (local storage) so they are remembered on your device. A strictly necessary session cookie is used only when an administrator signs in.

8. Your rights

Under POPIA you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent for marketing at any time. To exercise these rights, e-mail info@lolalilv.co.za.
